Orphans Foundation sustains food aid efforts in blockaded Gaza
The Orphans Foundation (Yetimler Vakfı ) is continuing its daily distribution of hot meals to orphaned children and families in need across Gaza, as residents face worsening humanitarian conditions amid ongoing attacks and a prolonged blockade.
With access to basic necessities becoming increasingly limited, the foundation has sustained its relief operations through donations from benefactors. Volunteer teams prepare and distribute hot meals each day, prioritizing orphaned children, low-income households, and other vulnerable groups struggling to secure regular food supplies.
The initiative has helped meet the daily nutritional needs of thousands of people living under the shadow of war and siege. Regular food distributions aim to alleviate hunger and provide a measure of stability for families facing severe shortages of food and essential goods.
As military operations and restrictions on Gaza continue, international aid and solidarity campaigns have expanded in an effort to address the deepening humanitarian crisis. Within this framework, the Yetimler Vakfı has sought to mitigate the impact of the crisis by ensuring that donated resources are delivered efficiently and with care to those most in need.
Foundation officials said the relief efforts are being carried out under extremely difficult conditions, expressing gratitude to donors for their continued support. They added that increasing contributions would allow the organization to expand its operations and reach a broader segment of Gaza’s population in the coming period. (ILKHA)
