European Orphan Hand dispatches aid trucks from Cairo to Gaza
European Orphan Hand (Avrupa Yetim Eli), a humanitarian organization active in many countries around the world, especially in regions facing oppression and crisis, has sent a new convoy of aid trucks from Egypt’s capital, Cairo, toward the Gaza Strip.
Ongoing humanitarian hardship in Gaza has severely restricted access to basic necessities for civilians. Children, the elderly, and families are particularly affected, with urgent needs for food, hygiene supplies, and shelter continuing to grow.
In response, European Orphan Hand has launched a fresh humanitarian initiative, preparing and dispatching an additional aid shipment to Gaza as part of its ongoing commitment to supporting vulnerable communities.
The preparation of the aid convoy was coordinated on the ground by the organization’s representatives, who readied and sent off three trucks carrying emergency relief supplies. During their time in Cairo, the representatives also visited Palestinian families and provided direct assistance.
The trucks, which are expected to enter Gaza through the Rafah Border Crossing, are loaded with food parcels for daily consumption, hygiene kits, and other essential relief items aimed at easing the suffering of Gaza’s residents.
Speaking about the operation, European Orphan Hand representative Enes Suiçer stressed the importance of sustained humanitarian support, noting that the organization is closely following the delivery process to ensure that the aid safely reaches those in need. (ILKHA)
