Orphans Foundation builds orphanage complex in Bangladesh
Türkiye-based Orphans Foundation (Yetimler Vakfı) is building an orphanage complex in Bangladesh to provide children without parental care with a safe living environment and better access to education, the organisation said.
The foundation, which provides financial and in-kind assistance to orphans, fatherless children and families in need, said a significant portion of the construction had been completed.
The project is being carried out with the support of a philanthropist and is expected to be completed and opened for use in the near future, according to the organisation.
Yetimler Vakfı conducts humanitarian assistance programmes in Türkiye and abroad, providing aid in areas including food and other essential needs. It also develops projects in different countries with contributions from donors and philanthropists.
The Bangladesh complex is intended to help orphaned children continue their education under better conditions while living in a secure environment.
The foundation said it would continue its humanitarian work in different parts of the world, focusing on supporting vulnerable children and families in need. (ILKHA)
