Orphans Foundation distributes hot meals to underprivileged children in Africa
The Orphans Foundation (Yetimler Vakfı) provided hot meals to orphaned children in Africa to mark the blessed Night of Barat (Berat Gecesi), extending the spirit of compassion and solidarity to one of the world’s most vulnerable regions.
Across many parts of Africa, ongoing poverty, drought and limited access to basic food continue to make daily life extremely difficult for families in need. Despite these harsh conditions, the Orphans Foundation carries out year-round humanitarian work, delivering aid to those facing the greatest hardships.
As part of its ongoing efforts, the foundation continued its assistance on the Night of Barat, a night traditionally associated with forgiveness and mercy. With the support of donors, hot meals were prepared and distributed to orphaned children, ensuring that the blessings of the sacred night were shared far beyond local borders.
Foundation officials emphasized that such relief efforts are made possible through the generosity of donors and called on philanthropists to continue their support, particularly during these blessed days, so that orphans and the oppressed are not forgotten.
They also expressed sincere thanks to all those who contributed to making the initiative possible. (ILKHA)
