HÜDA PAR delegation holds high-level talks in Kurdistan

A senior delegation from the Free Cause Party (HÜDA PAR) carried out a series of diplomatic meetings in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq this week, focusing on Türkiye’s ongoing PKK disarmament process and broader political developments across the region.

In Erbil, the HÜDA PAR delegation met with representatives of the Kurdish National Council (ENKS) to discuss the political situation of Syrian Kurds and the significance of Masoud Barzani’s support in resolving long-standing challenges. The talks addressed expectations for constitutional guarantees of Kurdish rights in Syria and underlined the need for dialogue and sincerity in addressing the Kurdish question at large.
The delegation also held discussions with officials at the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) Foreign Relations Office, where they were received by Ali Avni on behalf of the KDP. Both sides reviewed the Turkish parliamentary commission’s work on the PKK disarmament initiative and exchanged views on political developments in Iraq and the Kurdistan Region.
Further engagements included talks with the Bizutnawa Islamic Movement, led by General President Sheikh Irfan Ali Abdulaziz. Discussions highlighted the importance of Türkiye’s disarmament process and assessed the broader regional political landscape.
The visit concluded with a meeting at the Komal Party, where the HÜDA PAR delegation was hosted by Foreign Relations Officer Shivan Raber. The discussions covered Türkiye’s disarmament initiative, the evolving situation in Syria, and political dynamics in the Kurdistan Region.
Through its high-level meetings, HÜDA PAR emphasized its support for Türkiye’s ongoing PKK disarmament process while also stressing the need for broader cooperation across the region to promote dialogue, peace, and stability.
