Palestinian ambassador praises HÜDA PAR’s steadfast support for Gaza
Palestine’s Ambassador to Ankara, Dr. Faed Mustafa, paid a heartfelt farewell visit to HÜDA PAR Chairman Zekeriya Yapıcıoğlu at the party headquarters, praising the party’s consistent support for the Palestinian people.
The delegation, including Husam Sarhan and Hüseyin Paşaoğlu, was warmly received by Yapıcıoğlu alongside Party Secretary General Mehmet Hüseyin Yılmaz and Deputy Chairmen Hüseyin İmir and Hamdin Aslan.
Reflecting on his decade-long tenure in Turkey, Ambassador Mustafa lauded HÜDA PAR’s steadfast commitment to the Palestinian cause. “You are our dear brothers and sisters; you have a place in our hearts,” Mustafa said, emphasizing the strategic importance of Palestine-Turkey relations. “We have witnessed firsthand how much support you have given to the Palestinian people, consistently condemning the gang that holds power in Israel. I sincerely and wholeheartedly thank you and all the members of your party,” he added, wishing blessings and success for HÜDA PAR and the Turkish people.
Chairman Yapıcıoğlu reaffirmed the party’s resolute stance on Palestine, framing it as a universal struggle for justice. “The Palestinian cause is not only the cause of Palestinians, Arabs, or Muslims—it is a cause of humanity,” he declared. He highlighted the sacred significance of Al-Aqsa Mosque, Islam’s first qibla and third holiest site, underscoring the moral obligation to support Palestinian liberation. “We will strive to do whatever we can for the freedom of Palestine and Al-Aqsa Mosque, God willing,” he vowed.
Yapıcıoğlu condemned the ongoing Zionist occupation, tracing Palestinian suffering back to the British mandate in 1917 and its intensification since the creation of Israel in 1948. “Zionism is such a dangerous form of racism that it denies the right to life on that land to anyone but itself,” he said, calling for global resistance against escalating oppression. “Anyone who sees the oppression committed there, even if they are not Muslim, should raise a strong objection simply because they are human. We will continue to stand up until this oppression ends.”
The meeting also highlighted HÜDA PAR’s ongoing humanitarian and advocacy efforts for Gaza, particularly in response to the Israeli occupation’s bombardment and blockade. The party has actively coordinated relief campaigns, raising awareness about the dire conditions in Gaza, supporting the delivery of food, medicine, and essential aid, and mobilizing public solidarity efforts across Türkiye.
The visit concluded with an exchange of gifts, symbolizing the enduring bond between HÜDA PAR and the Palestinian people. Dr. Mustafa’s farewell visit reinforced the alliance between Palestine and its Turkish advocates, highlighting the shared commitment to justice, freedom, and the protection of Palestinian lives amidst decades of occupation and hardship.
