HÜDA PAR delegation holds series of political meetings in Kurdistan

A delegation from Türkiye’s HÜDA PAR, led by Spokesperson and Batman Deputy Serkan Ramanlı, conducted a series of significant political meetings in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, focusing on fostering dialogue, peace, and cooperation.
The visit, which coincided with the “Türkiye’s Difficult Peace Workshop” organized by the Rûdaw Research Center, underscored HÜDA PAR’s commitment to addressing regional challenges, including the Kurdish issue and the future of Syria.
Ramanlı participated in a closed-door roundtable session at the workshop, where discussions centered on Türkiye’s ongoing “Terror-Free Türkiye Process” and broader regional political developments. Emphasizing the importance of dialogue, he stated, “The basis for a fair solution to the Kurdish issue is peace,” reaffirming HÜDA PAR’s readiness to support initiatives aimed at achieving lasting stability in the region.
The delegation’s itinerary included meetings with prominent political and tribal figures in Erbil. Ramanlı met with Nawzad Anwar Beg, leader of the influential Hoshnav tribe, and other senior members of the Hoshnav family, a key regional stakeholder. Discussions focused on strengthening ties and addressing shared concerns about regional stability.
Further engagements included a visit to the PDK-S (KDP-Syria) National Relations Office, where Ramanlı was welcomed by Secretary Mıhemed İsmail, General Executive Council Members Sait Ömer and Hakim Beşar, and Central Committee Member Muhammed Şirin. The talks explored the evolving political landscape in Syria, the role of Syrian Kurds, and Türkiye’s peace initiatives, highlighting the need for collaborative solutions.
The delegation also held consultations with senior members of Yekgirtu, including Dr. Muhammed Hawdiyani, Dr. Lokman Baskederi, Dr. Fuad Ahmet, and Meğdid Hermezyar. These discussions addressed political dynamics in Türkiye and Iraqi Kurdistan, public perspectives on the peace process, and opportunities to enhance inter-party relations.
Accompanying Ramanlı were Hüseyin İmir, Head of Foreign Relations; Nasuh Sevinik, Member of the Central Consultative Board; and Mücahit Şimşek from HÜDA PAR’s Erbil Representative Office. The visit reflects HÜDA PAR’s proactive approach to cross-border dialogue, aiming to bridge divides and promote peace through political engagement.
As regional tensions persist, particularly in Syria and Türkiye, HÜDA PAR’s outreach in Iraqi Kurdistan signals a broader effort to build cooperative frameworks and address longstanding issues through diplomacy and reconciliation. (ILKHA)
