Hüseyin İmir, head of Foreign Relations for HÜDA PAR, issued a strong condemnation of recent Israeli military strikes on southern Syria, accusing the “Zionist terrorist regime” of exploiting tensions between Druze and Bedouin communities to advance an occupation agenda.

In a statement released Wednesday, İmir called on regional countries to oppose Israel’s aggressive policies, warning that the attacks threaten Syria’s fragile recovery and regional stability.

İmir highlighted that Israel’s strikes, conducted under the pretext of addressing Druze-related tensions, are destabilizing an already vulnerable region. “The Zionist terrorist regime continues its attacks by taking advantage of the tensions between Druze and Bedouin groups in the south of Syria, further disrupting the fragile balances in the region,” he said.

He emphasized that Syria, striving to rebuild after years of civil war, faces a deliberate strategy of chaos through the manipulation of minority tensions. “These attacks are not only against international law but also dangerous steps that threaten lasting peace in the region,” İmir stated, labeling the strikes as a clear occupation tactic.

Urging regional unity, İmir called for active support for Syria’s recovery process. “Syria should not allow the repetition of the long years of destruction, and all parties should act in line with the principles of peace and sovereignty,” he said. He warned that Israel’s actions endanger not only Syria but the broader Middle East, urging regional nations to reject these destabilization attempts and uphold Syria’s sovereignty. (ILKHA)
