Genocide in Gaza: Women and children among 79 martyred in latest Israeli bombardments

Medical sources in Gaza confirmed that at least 79 Palestinians, including 16 civilians who were desperately seeking humanitarian aid, were martyred in the last 24 hours as Israel intensified its relentless bombardment across the besieged enclave.
Israeli warplanes launched heavy air raids on multiple areas, striking both residential neighborhoods and makeshift shelters of displaced families. In northern Khan Yunis, an airstrike east of Hamad Towers left scenes of devastation, while in Gaza City’s Al-Nasr neighborhood, Israeli missiles directly hit tents where displaced persons had sought refuge near the Italian Tower.
Another brutal strike targeted the home of the Habib family in the Al-Sabra neighborhood of Gaza City, leading to numerous casualties, most of them women and children. Entire families continue to be wiped out in what Palestinians describe as Israel’s systematic campaign of ethnic cleansing.
According to the latest figures, the death toll from Israel’s genocidal war on Gaza has climbed to 63,557 martyrs since October 2023, the overwhelming majority being women and children. More than 160,660 people have also been injured, many with life-altering wounds.
Health officials warn that these numbers remain far from complete, as countless victims are still trapped under the rubble of bombed homes and buildings, while others lie lifeless on roads inaccessible to ambulances and rescue teams due to the ongoing bombardment.
Despite global calls for an end to the carnage, Israel continues its indiscriminate attacks on the civilian population of Gaza, leaving behind mass graves, destroyed neighborhoods, and a humanitarian catastrophe unprecedented in modern history. (ILKHA)
