Azerbaijani, Turkish top diplomats discuss regional security in phone call
Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov spoke by phone with his Turkish counterpart, Hakan Fidan, on Sunday to discuss bilateral relations and current regional developments.
According to diplomatic sources, the talks focused on the strong allied ties between Azerbaijan and Türkiye, particularly cooperation within international organizations and multilateral frameworks. The two ministers emphasized the need for close coordination on regional security issues.
They also exchanged views on the situation in the Middle East and the ongoing normalization process between Azerbaijan and Armenia, sharing assessments on recent developments and issues of mutual concern.
The call once again highlighted the close political dialogue between Baku and Ankara, reflecting the depth of their strategic partnership and their continued engagement on regional and global affairs. (ILKHA)
