The delegation, led by Dr. Abdullah al-Zindani, included representatives from Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Türkiye, Bahrain, Iraq, Oman, Malaysia, Palestine, Syria, and India. According to Saifuddin Laton, spokesperson for the Panjshir provincial administration, discussions centered on expanding trade ties and increasing investment opportunities, particularly in Panjshir province.
Delegates expressed strong interest in supporting Afghanistan’s development, pledging to promote a positive image of the country across the Islamic world. Governor Hakim emphasized that Afghanistan has emerged from years of crisis and is now better positioned than ever to welcome investors. He urged Islamic nations to explore opportunities in education, health, agriculture, mining, and tourism, all of which could strengthen the Islamic governance system in the country.
Dr. al-Zindani praised Afghanistan’s “unparalleled” security environment, assuring potential investors that the conditions are ripe for business engagement. Qatari investor Mohammad Hassan Al-Emadi announced plans to invest in both the tourism and agriculture sectors, highlighting the province’s untapped potential.
Yemeni businessman Khaled, head of the Islamic Financing Committee, revealed a major joint initiative involving around 250 companies and investors from Islamic countries.
