United States: Six dead in devastating house fire in Waldorf, Maryland

Six people tragically lost their lives in a house fire early Sunday morning in Waldorf, a suburb near Baltimore, local authorities reported.
The fire broke out in a residential home housing nine residents. According to officials, only one person managed to escape the blaze, while two residents were not home at the time. One adult also fled the scene before firefighters arrived.
Approximately 70 firefighters responded to the emergency, battling the flames for over an hour before bringing the fire under control. During the operation, one firefighter was hospitalized after suffering from smoke inhalation but is reported to be in stable condition.
