Israeli occupation forces execute young Palestinian in Qalqilya

Israeli occupation forces executed 20-year-old Jassem Ibrahim al-Sadda at dawn on Wednesday during a brutal military raid on the Palestinian village of Jit, east of Qalqilya, in the occupied West Bank.
According to local eyewitnesses, heavily armed Israeli troops stormed the village in the early hours, raiding multiple homes in a campaign of terror that has become routine in Palestinian communities. Among the homes targeted was that of the al-Sadda family.
Soldiers reportedly broke into the house and shot Jassem Ibrahim al-Sadda multiple times inside his home, leaving him bleeding without medical assistance. The young man, described as soft-spoken and well-liked by neighbors, was executed in cold blood.
The occupation forces confiscated his body, withholding it for hours before eventually handing it over to Palestinian Red Crescent medics at the village entrance. He was transported to Darwish Nazzal Governmental Hospital in Qalqilya.
Jassem, the youngest child of his family, earned a modest living running a small street stall in the village. Locals remembered him as a hardworking and humble young man who stayed away from political activity.
Palestinian human rights advocates condemned the killing as another extrajudicial execution by Israeli forces, part of a broader campaign of collective punishment and state violence aimed at silencing Palestinian life and resistance under occupation.
This killing adds to the growing death toll of Palestinians—many of them youth—who have been gunned down by occupation troops in night raids and military incursions across the West Bank, amid rising international calls for accountability. (ILKHA)
