Hope Caravan Foundation distributes sacrificial meat to the needy in Şanlıurfa

As part of its annual Eid al-Adha initiative, the Hope Caravan Foundation carried out the slaughter of sacrificial animals donated by philanthropists and distributed the meat to those in need across Şanlıurfa, bringing joy and relief to hundreds of impoverished families.
The distribution was coordinated by the foundation’s volunteers and members, aiming to share the blessings of Eid with vulnerable segments of society, including orphans, students, widows, and the poor. The effort was not only about offering physical sustenance but also about fostering community, compassion, and solidarity.
Speaking during the charitable campaign, Hope Caravan Foundation 2nd Regional Coordinator Faik Doğan extended Eid al-Adha greetings to the entire Islamic Ummah. “We congratulate the Eid of the entire Muslim world and pray that these sacred days become a means of liberation for Gaza and a turning point for the freedom of the Ummah,” he said.
Doğan also conveyed warm wishes to Muslims performing Hajj, expressing hope that their pilgrimage would be accepted by Allah.
Highlighting the significance of their charitable work, Doğan emphasized that the meat distributions carry emotional and spiritual value beyond their material impact. “We are not distributing just a bag of meat,” he said, “but a bag of happiness.”
“Our volunteers and team members are here to fulfil the trust of our donors,” he added. “These sacrifices are delivered with sincerity and compassion to the homes of those who are struggling. With every package, we aim to keep alive the spirit of sacrifice, generosity, and unity that Eid al-Adha represents.”
Doğan underscored the broader mission of the foundation’s efforts: to nurture a sense of brotherhood in society by reinforcing Islamic values of sharing and mutual support during the sacred days of Eid.
The initiative was warmly received by local families, many of whom expressed gratitude for the timely assistance during the holiday. As economic hardship deepens in many parts of the region, such acts of kindness are seen not only as religious obligations but also as lifelines of hope and solidarity.
Hope Caravan Foundation is expected to continue its Eid campaigns in other regions as well, extending the reach of its humanitarian work far beyond Şanlıurfa. (ILKHA)
