Orphans Foundation distributes sacrificial meat to needy families in Chad

The Orphans Foundation (Yetimler Vakfı) brought relief and joy to hundreds of impoverished families in Chad this Eid al-Adha, distributing aqiqa and sadaqa sacrificial meat to orphans and needy households.
The initiative, part of the foundation’s global humanitarian efforts, targeted one of the world’s poorest nations, ensuring vulnerable communities could partake in the festive spirit of the sacred season.
Focused on supporting orphans through food aid, in-kind assistance, and cash support, the Orphans Foundation intensified its outreach in Africa, a region heavily impacted by extreme poverty. In Chad, meat packages were delivered directly to families, made possible by generous donor contributions of aqiqah and sadaqah offerings.
The foundation’s team also visited educational institutions, including the Nur Huda Madrasah, where they gifted headscarves to students and provided meat packages to their families. A foundation representative emphasized the dual focus of the initiative, stating: “We are not only delivering aid but also dignity and hope to those forgotten by the world. Each sacrifice builds bridges between our donors and our brothers and sisters in Africa.”
The Orphans Foundation reaffirmed its commitment to ongoing charitable efforts in Chad and across the continent throughout Eid al-Adha. It called on philanthropists and donors to continue supporting the cause through financial contributions or sacrificial donations, strengthening its mission to uplift the oppressed and orphaned in regions facing severe hardship.
