31 civilians killed in Israeli airstrikes across Gaza since dawn

Israeli airstrikes and shelling have claimed the lives of at least 31 Palestinian civilians, including women and children, across the Gaza Strip since dawn on Thursday, medical sources confirmed.
The relentless attacks targeted residential areas, refugee camps, and even displaced families seeking safety, underscoring the dire humanitarian crisis gripping the region.
In a particularly horrific incident, three civilians were killed south of Khan Yunis while attempting to access humanitarian aid, a stark reminder of the dangers faced by Palestinians even when seeking basic necessities. The assault on Khan Yunis is part of a broader wave of Israeli aggression that has left no corner of Gaza untouched.
In central Gaza, the Abu Al-Aish family suffered an unimaginable loss when Israeli warplanes bombed their tent in the Nuseirat refugee camp, killing seven family members. The strike on the crowded camp, home to thousands of displaced Palestinians, highlights the indiscriminate nature of Israel’s military campaign.
Further north, in Gaza City’s Al-Sabra neighborhood, Israeli shelling targeted the Habib family home, killing three civilians and wounding others. The attack left the community reeling, with rescue efforts hampered by ongoing bombardment. In Tel Al-Hawa, southwest of Gaza City, an Israeli airstrike obliterated a tent sheltering displaced families, killing four civilians, including three children, and injuring several others. The targeting of displaced persons in makeshift shelters has drawn widespread condemnation as a violation of basic humanitarian principles.
In Deir al-Balah, Israeli gunfire claimed the life of one civilian and injured others southeast of the city, adding to the mounting death toll. The relentless attacks have overwhelmed Gaza’s already strained medical facilities, with hospitals struggling to treat the wounded amid shortages of supplies and personnel.
Palestinian officials and human rights advocates have decried the strikes as part of an ongoing pattern of violence that disproportionately harms civilians. “These attacks are not only tragic but a clear violation of international law,” said a spokesperson for a local human rights organization. “The targeting of tents, homes, and aid seekers shows a complete disregard for Palestinian lives.”
As the death toll rises, calls for an immediate ceasefire and international intervention grow louder. The people of Gaza, trapped in an open-air prison, continue to endure unimaginable suffering under relentless Israeli bombardment. The international community is urged to act swiftly to halt the violence and ensure accountability for the loss of innocent lives. (ILKHA)
