At least 12 Israeli occupation soldiers have been killed and wounded in a powerful Palestinian Resistance operation in the Gaza Strip, marking one of the deadliest incidents for Israeli forces in recent weeks as battles rage across the besieged enclave.

Israeli media confirmed that four soldiers were killed and eight others were injured when a Resistance unit detonated an explosive device targeting an Israeli Humvee. The incident reportedly occurred in an area considered a “safe zone for Israeli operations,” a claim that highlights the reach and effectiveness of the Resistance despite the intensity of the Israeli military campaign.

The attack underscores the continued determination of Palestinian Resistance factions to repel the ongoing invasion, even as Israel intensifies its bombardment and ground assaults in Gaza. The enclave remains under near-total siege, with its 2.3 million residents enduring starvation-level conditions and widespread destruction.

In a separate development earlier today, the al-Mujahideen Brigades announced that its fighters had directly hit an Israeli Merkava tank using a Saeer explosive charge in the al-Zaytoun neighborhood.

The Al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas, also confirmed that it launched several 107mm rockets at concentrations of Israeli occupation forces near the Murajja junction, south of Khan Younis. The operation was reportedly carried out in coordination with al-Mujahideen Brigades fighters, demonstrating the high level of cooperation between Palestinian Resistance factions.

The latest operations come amid Israel’s ongoing attempts to seize control of Gaza’s remaining population centers and displace its residents.
