Turkish Foreign Minister to visit Sri Lanka and Maldives
Türkiye’s Foreign Ministry has issued a press release regarding visits of Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Türkiye to Sri Lanka and the Maldives.
“Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Türkiye, will pay official visits to the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka and to the Republic of Maldives on 28-30 January 2022,” the Ministry said.
The Ministry underlined that Çavuşoğlu’s visit to the Maldives constitutes the first bilateral visit at the level of the Minister of Foreign Affairs from Türkiye to the Republic of Maldives.
“All aspects of bilateral relations as well as current regional and international issues will be discussed at the meetings to be held during both visits,” the Ministry added. (ILKHA)
