Syrian Foreign Minister to visit Türkiye for high-level talks

The Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that Asaad Hassan Al-Shaibani, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the new Syrian administration, will visit Türkiye on Wednesday.
During the visit, Minister of Foreign Affairs Hakan Fidan, Minister of National Defence Yaşar Güler, and Director of National Intelligence İbrahim Kalın will meet with their Syrian counterparts for high-level discussions.
The agenda for the meetings has not been disclosed, but the visit underscores efforts to enhance diplomatic and security cooperation between Türkiye and the new Syrian administration. The Turkish Foreign Ministry emphasized the importance of these talks in fostering regional stability and addressing mutual concerns.
