Türkiye sends condolences over Venezuela earthquakes
Türkiye has extended condolences to Venezuela following powerful earthquakes that caused significant loss of life and widespread damage in the country.
In a statement, the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed deep sorrow over the deaths and destruction caused by the earthquakes that struck Venezuela.
The ministry conveyed condolences to the families of the victims and to the people of Venezuela, while wishing a speedy recovery to those injured.
It was also stated that the Turkish Embassy in Caracas is in close contact with Turkish citizens in the region and is closely monitoring developments.
Ankara said Türkiye stands ready to provide humanitarian assistance to Venezuela if needed.
The earthquakes, which struck northern Venezuela, left dozens of people dead and injured hundreds, while also triggering emergency response measures and damage assessments in affected areas.(ILKHA)
