Mass casualties reported as Israel targets displaced families in Gaza

Israeli warplanes unleashed a fresh wave of deadly airstrikes across Gaza on Monday morning, killing and wounding dozens of Palestinians, many of them women and children.
In the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood of northern Gaza City, Israeli aircraft bombed two residential homes, causing multiple deaths and injuries. Rescue teams rushed to the scene, working through the night to pull victims from under the rubble.
In western Gaza, another Israeli airstrike struck a tent sheltering displaced families, killing six Palestinians, including children, according to doctors at Al-Shifa Hospital.
“These were civilians who had already lost their homes and were seeking safety in makeshift tents,” said one medic at the hospital. “Instead, they were bombed where they slept.”
Israeli aircraft also bombed two homes on Al-Jalaa Street, injuring several people and sparking urgent calls for rescue crews to search for those still missing.
In the Tal al-Hawa neighborhood, an airstrike hit the Al-Ashi Tower, located just behind Al-Quds Hospital, injuring residents and causing panic among patients and medical staff sheltering in the facility.
Meanwhile, in Al-Rimal neighborhood, another Israeli strike targeted a tent for displaced persons behind Capital Mall, wounding several more civilians.
Palestinian officials and human rights groups say these attacks are part of Israel’s systematic targeting of civilian infrastructure, despite repeated international calls for a ceasefire.
“These crimes against humanity are clear evidence of Israel’s genocidal campaign against our people,” said a spokesperson for Gaza’s government media office, urging the United Nations and international community to intervene immediately to stop the massacres. (ILKHA)
