Kam Air launches first direct flight from Kabul to Khost
Kam Air Airlines has officially inaugurated its first direct flight between Kabul and Khost International Airport, marking a significant step in enhancing domestic connectivity.
The inaugural flight took place on Thursday, opening a new travel route between Afghanistan’s capital and the eastern province of Khost.
As part of its expansion efforts, Kam Air has announced that it will operate two weekly flights on this route. Flights from Kabul to Khost are scheduled for Thursdays, with return flights from Khost to Kabul on Fridays. Additionally, another set of flights will operate on Sundays from Kabul to Khost, with return flights on Mondays.
The airline has set the ticket price at an affordable $50, making the new service accessible to a wider range of travelers, including business professionals and those looking to visit family in Khost.
This development is expected to boost economic activity and ease travel for residents of both cities, offering a reliable and efficient transportation option in Afghanistan’s evolving aviation sector. (ILKHA)
