Israeli airstrike kills 15, injures over 50 in new Gaza massacre

At least 15 Palestinian civilians, including six children, were killed and over 50 others wounded on Saturday in yet another massacre carried out by Israeli occupation forces in the Sabra neighborhood of Gaza City, according to local sources and emergency crews on the ground.
Israeli warplanes reportedly fired two missiles at a residential home in the densely populated neighborhood, causing catastrophic damage and igniting nearby vehicles. The airstrike left dozens buried under rubble as rescue teams, operating with extremely limited resources, rushed to recover bodies and search for survivors.
Emergency workers at the scene described the situation as dire, warning that the death toll could rise significantly due to the high number of people still missing beneath the debris. “Our capabilities are very limited. We are doing everything we can, but we desperately need more equipment to save lives,” one rescue crew member stated.
The targeted home was obliterated in the attack, and three civilian vehicles parked nearby were engulfed in flames. Eyewitnesses reported scenes of chaos and horror as families frantically searched for loved ones and first responders battled to navigate the destruction.
This latest massacre adds to the growing toll of Israel’s ongoing war on Gaza, now entering its 20th month. Since October 7, 2023, the Gaza Strip has endured continuous Israeli bombardment that has killed or injured more than 180,000 Palestinians — the vast majority of them women and children. More than 11,000 people remain missing under the rubble, while a devastating humanitarian crisis continues to unfold.
Widespread famine, mass displacement, and the total collapse of basic services have left Gaza’s 2.3 million residents struggling for survival amid one of the worst humanitarian catastrophes in recent history. Entire neighborhoods have been leveled, hospitals bombed, and essential infrastructure systematically destroyed.
Despite repeated international calls for a ceasefire and growing evidence of war crimes, Israeli airstrikes and ground operations continue unabated.
