Israel issues new evacuation orders amid relentless bombardment of Gaza

Israeli occupation forces issued new evacuation orders late Thursday night, targeting several densely populated areas in the northern Gaza Strip.
Civilians were ordered to flee their homes immediately, despite having nowhere safe to go under the ongoing siege and bombardment.
According to local sources, residents in Jabalia al-Balad and Al-Atatra in northern Gaza, as well as the neighborhoods of Al-Shuja’iya, Al-Daraj, and Al-Zaytoun in Gaza City, were given sudden instructions to evacuate. These orders come amid escalating Israeli air and artillery strikes that are devastating the already battered enclave.
On Thursday alone, Israeli attacks killed at least 70 Palestinians, including women and children, and left many more wounded. The strikes are part of a broader military onslaught that has pushed Gaza into one of the worst humanitarian catastrophes in modern history.
Since March 2, Israel has maintained a total blockade on Gaza, sealing all border crossings and halting the flow of desperately needed food, fuel, medicine, and humanitarian aid. The siege has triggered famine-like conditions and the collapse of essential services, compounding the suffering of a population under daily assault.
Over 1.5 million Palestinians—more than 60% of Gaza’s 2.4 million residents—have already been rendered homeless by Israel’s ongoing bombardment, which has leveled entire neighborhoods and targeted critical civilian infrastructure.
Human rights organizations and United Nations agencies have condemned the repeated evacuation orders and the broader campaign of displacement. Many warn that these acts, carried out amid continuous shelling and a total siege, could amount to war crimes and violations of international humanitarian law.
Despite international calls for a ceasefire and mounting global outrage, Israel's military operations continue unabated. For Gaza’s civilians—trapped, starved, and relentlessly targeted—there is no refuge, and no reprieve in sight. (ILKHA)
