Hope Caravan opens 10-classroom school to support children in Benin
The Hope Caravan Foundation (Umut Kervanı Vakfı) has inaugurated a new school complex in the Savé region of Benin, providing hundreds of local students with access to education and modern learning facilities.
The complex features 10 classrooms, administrative offices, a mosque and a computer classroom. Two philanthropists covered the entire cost of construction, supporting efforts to improve educational opportunities for children in the region.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by Hope Caravan Chairman Cengiz Kurtaran, the mayor of Savé, local officials and philanthropist Rıdvan Taştimur, one of the project's supporters.
The ceremony opened with a recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by performances that attracted considerable interest from local residents. Officials and other guests then cut the ribbon to mark the school's official opening before touring the newly built facilities.
The project reflects Hope Caravan's efforts to go beyond emergency aid by investing in initiatives that provide lasting benefits to communities. Through the new school, the foundation aims to help more children access education and create better learning opportunities for future generations. (ILKHA)
