Türkiye urges Syria to end violence in South through dialogue

Türkiye has called on the Syrian government to swiftly resolve ongoing violence in southern Syria through local dialogue, according to a statement by Öncü Keçeli, spokesperson for the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Keçeli emphasized the importance of prioritizing Syria’s sovereignty and unity during this process, urging the establishment of security in the region.
“Türkiye will continue to support efforts to strengthen stability and reconciliation in Syria, in cooperation with responsible stakeholders in the international community,” Keçeli stated.
