Turkish Foreign Ministry: Israel adopts terrorism as state policy

The Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs has issued a strong condemnation of Israel’s deadly strike on the Hamas negotiating delegation in Doha, calling it a blatant assault on peace efforts and regional stability.
In its statement, the ministry declared: “We strongly denounce Israel’s attack targeting the Hamas negotiating delegation in Doha, the capital of Qatar. Targeting the Hamas delegation while ceasefire negotiations are ongoing clearly demonstrates that Israel seeks not peace, but the continuation of war.”
The ministry emphasized that the strike not only undermined ongoing ceasefire talks but also directly endangered Qatar, which has been mediating between the Palestinian resistance and Israel. “With this attack, Qatar, a mediator in the ceasefire talks, has now been added to the list of countries targeted by Israel in the region. This constitutes clear evidence of Israel’s expansionist policies and its adoption of terrorism as a state policy,” the statement said.
Ankara reaffirmed its full solidarity with Doha, denouncing the assault as a violation of Qatari sovereignty and security. It also renewed its call on the international community to take immediate action to halt Israel’s attacks in Gaza and across the wider Middle East.
“We stand in solidarity with Qatar in the face of this heinous attack targeting its sovereignty and security. We reiterate our call on the international community to exert pressure on Israel to halt its ongoing aggression in Palestine and across the region,” the ministry concluded.
The strike on Doha has sparked outrage across the world, with governments, international organizations, and human rights groups warning that Israel’s actions represent a dangerous escalation that threatens to derail fragile ceasefire efforts. (ILKHA)
