Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan to attend Gaza meeting in the United States
The Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan will travel to the United States to participate in a high-level meeting on Gaza scheduled to take place on December 19 in Miami.
According to a press release issued by the ministry, the meeting will bring together senior officials from Türkiye, the United States, Egypt, and Qatar to discuss developments in Gaza and ongoing efforts related to the situation in the besieged enclave.
The ministry stated that, on the sidelines of the Gaza-focused talks, additional consultations will be held to address other regional issues of mutual concern. These discussions are expected to cover broader Middle East dynamics, regional security challenges, and diplomatic initiatives aimed at reducing tensions.
Türkiye has been actively engaged in diplomatic efforts concerning Gaza, including humanitarian access, ceasefire arrangements, and regional coordination with key stakeholders.
