Hope Caravan provides Eid clothing for underprivileged children in Van

In a heartwarming initiative ahead of Eid al-Adha, the Hope Caravan Foundation’s Erciş office distributed festive clothing and shoes to children from underprivileged families in Van’s Erciş district, spreading joy as the holiday approaches.
The foundation provided clothing worth 81,000 Turkish lira to children from families grappling with poverty and hardship. The effort is part of Hope Caravan’s ongoing humanitarian work in the region, aimed at supporting vulnerable communities.
Musa Akdeniz, the foundation’s Erciş representative, expressed gratitude to donors for making the initiative possible. “Each child’s joy was unique,” Akdeniz said. “We shared their excitement and were deeply moved by the heartfelt prayers of their mothers. We thank all our benefactors for their contributions.”
With Eid al-Adha nearing, Akdeniz also called for support for the foundation’s sacrificial meat donation campaign, which seeks to provide red meat to disadvantaged families. “For many of these families, this may be their only chance to enjoy a proper meal with meat this year,” he said. “We invite philanthropists to donate and help us bring hope to those in need.”
Akdeniz extended Eid al-Adha greetings to the Islamic world and urged continued support to expand the foundation’s outreach. The Hope Caravan remains committed to uplifting the oppressed and needy, ensuring the spirit of Eid reaches those who need it most. (ILKHA)
