Fog forces suspension of ship traffic in Dardanelles Strait

The Turkish Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure has announced the temporary closure of the Dardanelles Strait to ship traffic due to heavy fog.
The decision was made to ensure the safety of vessels navigating the strait during the period of low visibility.
The authorities will continue to monitor weather conditions and will reopen the strait as soon as visibility improves. (ILKHA)
