Yemeni forces strike Tel Aviv’s Ben Gurion Airport with hypersonic missile

The Yemeni Armed Forces (YAF) announced on Sunday that they had launched a high-level military operation targeting the Israeli-occupied city of Tel Aviv, in a direct show of support for the Palestinian people amid the ongoing Israeli onslaught on Gaza.
In an official statement, YAF spokesperson Brigadier General Yahya Saree confirmed that the force’s Rocket Division fired a Palestine-2 hypersonic ballistic missile at al-Lydd Airport, also known internationally as Ben Gurion Airport, located in the occupied Yafa region.
“The operation successfully achieved its goal,” Saree declared, noting that the missile strike led to a complete disruption of air traffic and caused widespread panic, forcing millions of Israeli settlers to seek shelter. Footage circulating online showed flight delays and halted departures at Ben Gurion Airport following the reported impact.
Saree emphasized that the strike came in direct response to the ongoing genocide being committed by the Israeli regime in the Gaza Strip and was a message of unwavering solidarity with the oppressed Palestinian people and their Resistance fighters.
“The Yemeni Armed Forces affirm that such operations will persist until the aggression on Gaza is brought to an end and the unjust blockade imposed on the Palestinian enclave is fully lifted,” he stated.
The YAF also reiterated its preparedness to escalate and adapt to developments in the days ahead, asserting that it will not hesitate to carry out further strategic strikes if the Zionist regime continues its crimes against the people of Gaza.
The bold missile attack marks a significant escalation in Yemen’s military engagement in the broader regional resistance axis against Israeli occupation and aggression, underscoring Sanaa’s declared commitment to stand alongside Palestine until justice is achieved. (ILKHA)
