Syrian Interior Minister Anas Khattab has announced a major restructuring of the security and police system in Sweida, following a series of new appointments in the southern province. According to the official Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA), Khattab chaired a high-level meeting in Sweida to review the latest security developments and strategies aimed at “strengthening stability and protecting citizens.” He emphasized that the reorganization was designed to enhance the effectiveness of internal security operations.

Local Arabic outlets such as Syria TV and Erem News reported that the minister confirmed a set of new appointments within the province’s police and security command.
