Israeli forces detain Palestinians in several West Bank areas
Israeli regime forces carried out raids across several areas of the occupied West Bank, detaining a number of Palestinians, according to local sources.
Security sources cited by local media said Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Tuqu, southeast of Bethlehem, and detained former prisoner Rayan Nayef Jadallah Hajjajra, 19, along with Mu'taz Samir Izzeddin, 18.
The forces also raided the town of Beit Fajjar, south of Bethlehem, where they deployed in several neighbourhoods and searched numerous homes.
Raids reported in Ramallah, Salfit and Tubas
In Ramallah and al-Bireh, Israeli occupation forces detained three Palestinians. The detainees were identified as Qusay Mohammed Alaeddin, 25, and Hamza Yusuf Shaheen Abu Kamish, 32, from the village of Jamala west of Ramallah, and Mahmoud Subhi Hammad, 32, from Silwad town northeast of Ramallah.
In the town of Kafr ad-Dik, west of Salfit, occupation forces detained Majdi ad-Dik and his two sons, Qusay and Uday, during a raid carried out in the early morning.
Local sources said the forces entered the town, searched homes and damaged property.
In Tubas Governorate, Israeli occupation forces detained 61-year-old Rashid Burhan Bani Awde in the town of Tammun, southeast of Tubas.
Director of the Tubas Prisoners Club Kamal Bani Awde said the detention took place during a large-scale raid in which military vehicles entered the town, infantry units were deployed and several homes were searched.(ILKHA)
