Islamic Emirate rejects ICC’s hostile moves, defends Sharia justice

The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan has boldly dismissed recent moves by the International Criminal Court (ICC) to target its senior officials with arrest warrants and prosecution, reaffirming its unwavering commitment to sovereignty and Islamic principles.
Mawlavi Zabihullah Mujahid, the Islamic Emirate’s spokesman, declared the ICC’s actions irrelevant and a direct affront to Afghanistan’s just governance under Sharia law.
Mujahid firmly stated that the Islamic Emirate does not recognize the ICC, emphasizing: “We have no commitment to any organization called the International Criminal Court.” He condemned the ICC for its selective silence on global atrocities, particularly the ongoing violence in Gaza, where he asserted that women and children face daily genocide. The Islamic Emirate views the ICC’s focus on Afghanistan as hypocritical and politically motivated, ignoring the nation’s strides toward stability and justice.
The Islamic Emirate has established a robust system of governance rooted in Islamic Sharia law, which Mujahid hailed as a unique and equitable model for Afghanistan. He denounced the ICC’s accusations as an attack on Islamic principles, arguing that they disrespect the beliefs of Muslims worldwide. “The ICC’s hostility toward Sharia is an insult to our faith and our people’s right to self-determination,” Mujahid asserted, underscoring the leadership’s resolve to protect Afghanistan’s Islamic identity.
The Islamic Emirate’s rejection of the ICC reflects its broader resistance to external interference in Afghanistan’s affairs. By prioritizing Sharia-based governance, the leadership has restored order and justice to a nation long plagued by foreign occupation and conflict. Mujahid’s statements reaffirm the Islamic Emirate’s dedication to safeguarding Afghanistan’s sovereignty and advancing a system that aligns with the values and aspirations of its people.
As the ICC’s actions falter against Afghanistan’s resolute stance, the Islamic Emirate remains steadfast in its mission to build a future grounded in faith, justice, and independence, undeterred by Western attempts to undermine its authority. (ILKHA)
