Gaza resistance launches rocket barrages in response to Israeli attacks

Palestinian resistance fighters launched a series of rocket attacks on Tuesday evening targeting Israeli settlements near the Gaza Strip, in response the ongoing massacres by Israeli occupation forces against civilians in Gaza.
The Al-Quds Brigades, the armed wing of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad Movement, announced that its Rocket Force had fired at Israeli cities and settlements including Ashdod, Asqalan, Sderot, and other areas within the so-called Gaza envelope.
In a statement, the group said: “The Rocket Force of Al-Quds Brigades bombarded Ashdod, Asqalan, Sderot, and the settlements in the Gaza envelope with rocket barrages in response to the Zionist massacres against our Palestinian people.”
The resistance operation comes amid a deadly escalation of Israeli airstrikes across Gaza, particularly in areas like Jabalia, where dozens of civilians, including women and children, were recently killed in what local authorities describe as indiscriminate and disproportionate attacks.
Israeli media outlet Channel 12 confirmed that at least three rockets were fired from Gaza toward the settlements of Sderot and Asqalan, prompting alarm sirens and brief panic in the occupied areas.
Palestinian resistance factions have consistently asserted their right to respond to Israeli aggression and defend Gaza’s population against ongoing military assaults and a suffocating blockade that has severely limited access to basic necessities, medical supplies, and humanitarian aid. (ILKHA)
