Afghanistan seeks to boost Qatari investment in key sectors

Minister of Industry and Commerce Nooruddin Azizi met with Dr. Murdif Al-Qashouti, Charge d’Affaires of the Qatari Embassy in Kabul, in a high-level discussion focused on enhancing bilateral economic cooperation and fostering long-term investment from Qatar.
During the meeting, both sides stressed the importance of strengthening trade relations and expanding partnerships between Afghanistan and Qatar. Minister Azizi highlighted Afghanistan’s commitment to creating a favorable environment for foreign investors, outlining key sectors where collaboration could drive growth and support the country’s ongoing economic recovery.
In a significant gesture, Dr. Murdif invited Minister Azizi to visit Qatar to further explore investment opportunities and deepen bilateral ties.
