President Erdoğan hails Togg as symbol of Türkiye’s technological independence

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan was formally presented with Togg’s latest electric vehicle model, the T10F, during a special ceremony held at the Dolmabahçe Presidential Office in Istanbul on Saturday.
The vehicle, gifted by members of Togg’s board, marks a symbolic milestone for Türkiye’s first domestically produced electric vehicle brand.
Unveiled earlier this year, the T10F fastback sedan represents Togg’s most ambitious step yet toward competing in the global electric vehicle market. Known for its sleek design, extended battery range, and smart connectivity features, the model has already drawn significant attention from industry observers and consumers alike.
During the presentation, Togg executives emphasized the company’s mission to lead Türkiye’s automotive transformation, highlighting the T10F’s role in advancing sustainability and technological self-sufficiency.
Erdoğan commended the automaker for its rapid progress since its debut in 2022, saying that Togg reflects Türkiye’s growing capacity for innovation and its commitment to achieving economic and technological independence.
Togg has continued to expand production at its Gemlik facility, rolling out new models that have strengthened its presence in the domestic market and attracted international interest. The T10F is expected to officially launch in early 2026, with pre-orders already generating strong demand.
Saturday’s event underscores the government’s ongoing support for Togg’s mission to establish Türkiye as a significant player in the global electric vehicle industry. (ILKHA)
