Turkish authorities arrest 20 ISIS suspects in Izmir

Turkish security forces on Monday conducted a counter-terrorism operation against ISIS in Izmir, detaining 20 suspects.
The operation stemmed from an investigation by the Izmir Chief Public Prosecutor's Office Terrorism Crimes Investigation Bureau. Acting on intelligence, authorities targeted locations in Menemen district.
Following the raid, all 20 suspects were taken into custody for processing. After completing procedures at the police station, they were transferred to the courthouse, likely to face charges related to terrorism.
