Prophet’s Lovers Foundation mobilizes thousands for Mawlid rally in Diyarbakır

The Prophet’s Lovers Foundation has finalized preparations for a massive Mawlid Al Nabi celebration themed “Leader of Resistance Prophet Muhammad” at Nevruz Park Rally Area in Diyarbakır, scheduled to begin at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday.
Thousands of devotees from Diyarbakır’s city center, surrounding districts, and neighboring cities have already begun gathering at the venue hours in advance, filling the area with anticipation.
To ensure accessibility, the Foundation arranged free transportation from various points across the city, allowing attendees to reach the rally area easily. Due to traffic management measures, participants parked outside the venue and walked to the site. Robust security measures are in place, with police checkpoints screening attendees before entry. Separate gates for men and women have been established to prevent overcrowding and ensure a smooth flow of people, with Foundation officials guiding participants into the venue.
The event features two dedicated platforms for prominent figures, including scholars, opinion leaders, political representatives, and NGO delegates from Turkey and abroad. The rally area is adorned with posters honoring Palestinian martyrs, including Muhammad Deif, General Commander of Hamas’s Al-Qassam Brigades, Hamas leaders Ismail Haniyeh and Yahya Sinwar, and Abu Hamza, spokesperson for Al-Quds Seriyyas. Additionally, posters commemorate local martyrs Yasin Börü, Riyad Güneş, Hasan Gökgöz, Hüseyin Dakak, Turan Yavaş, and Cumali Güneş, killed in PKK/HDP attacks in Diyarbakır on October 6-7, 2014.
The event will be broadcast live on Rehber TV, with a giant screen installed to accommodate the large crowd. Mobile base stations have been set up to handle communication demands. The Foundation has also organized kermes (charity bazaars) in tents, alongside a health tent staffed with doctors, ambulances, and medical personnel. A dedicated tent addresses concerns about missing children, and large quantities of water will be distributed to attendees. Anthems and hymns are being played to energize the crowd ahead of the program.
The Prophet’s Lovers Foundation’s organizing committee is actively overseeing operations both inside and outside the venue, ensuring a well-coordinated and meaningful celebration of the Prophet’s birth. (ILKHA)
