Orphans Foundation provides vital winter assistance to vulnerable children in Kahramanmaras
The Orphans Foundation (Yetimler Vakfı) has provided winter clothing and shoes to dozens of orphaned children in the southern Turkish province of Kahramanmaraş, as part of its seasonal humanitarian assistance efforts.
Abdurrahman Evin, the Kahramanmaraş Representative of the Orphans Foundation, said the initiative was launched with the approach of winter to help meet the basic needs of orphaned children living in the province.
“As the Kahramanmaraş Representation of the Orphans Foundation, we have carried out a winter clothing assistance initiative in order to meet the basic needs of orphaned children living in our province with the approach of the winter season,” Evin said.
He explained that the aid package included essential winter items such as coats, boots, sweaters and other warm garments, aiming to ensure that children can endure the cold weather in safer and healthier conditions.
“Within this scope, coats, boots, sweaters and other winter garments were delivered to orphaned children in need, with the aim of enabling them to live more safely and healthily during the cold winter days,” he stated.
Evin emphasized that the emotional impact of the support was as important as the material assistance. “The smiles on the faces of our orphaned children once again showed how meaningful and necessary this work is,” he said, adding that the foundation places great importance on supporting children not only materially, but also morally and emotionally.
Thanking those who contributed to the initiative, Evin expressed appreciation to donors and volunteers. “On behalf of the Kahramanmaraş Representation, we would like to thank all our donors, volunteers and everyone who contributed to making this good deed possible,” he said.
Concluding his remarks, Evin reaffirmed the foundation’s commitment to orphaned children, saying, “We will continue to stand by our orphaned children and add hope to their hopes.” (ILKHA)
