The Youth Branch of the Free Cause Party (HÜDA PAR) is set to host a panel titled “Combating Addiction” on Sunday, December 7, bringing together experts, civil society organizations, and political party representatives to discuss the rising challenge of drug addiction.

The panel will take place at 19:00 in the Selahaddin Eyyubi Mosque Conference Hall in Diyarbakır’s Yenişehir district. Journalist Hüseyin Gülsever will moderate the event.

The program will feature several prominent speakers:

• Faruk Dinç, HÜDA PAR Youth Policy Chairman and Mersin Deputy: “Field Studies and Our Solution Proposals”
• Osman Atalay, Researcher-Writer: “Drug Addiction and the Role of Civil Society in the Fight Against Addiction”
• İhsan Aslan, President of Yeşilay (Green Crescent) Diyarbakır Branch: “Street Culture, Addiction Risk, and Intervention Models”
• Sadık Sun, Expert Psychologist: “The Destructive Impact of Drug Addiction on the Family”

In its announcement, the HÜDA PAR Youth Policy Directorate highlighted the urgency of unified efforts in combating addiction and invited all residents of Diyarbakır to join the event.

The panel aims to enhance public awareness, share valuable field experiences, and explore effective strategies to safeguard young people and families from the dangers of substance abuse. (ILKHA)
