HÜDA PAR MP Faruk Dinç demands full ban on Israeli-linked products in Turkish parliament

HÜDA PAR Deputy Chairman and Mersin MP Faruk Dinç has called for the immediate and total removal of products linked to companies supporting Israel from the Turkish Parliament, warning that their continued sale implicates the institution in the ongoing genocide in Gaza.
Speaking to reporters after a press conference at the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye on Thursday, Dinç criticized the incomplete enforcement of a prior ban on such products, despite Parliament Speaker Numan Kurtulmuş’s earlier decision to prohibit their sale. Dinç hailed Kurtulmuş’s move as “correct and appropriate” but stressed that allowing these products to remain on Parliament premises undermines Türkiye’s moral and political stance.
“From this day forward, the sale and marketing of products from companies supporting this genocide make one complicit in this crime,” Dinç declared. “This is not just shameful—it is active participation in the genocide. These companies are committing atrocities in full view of the world.”
Dinç urged Parliament to set a national example by fully enforcing the boycott, demanding the immediate and permanent removal of these products from its premises. He vowed to personally monitor the issue and called for a broader nationwide ban, stating: “Products from any company supporting this genocide must not be sold in Türkiye or allowed to enter our country.”
The remarks reflect HÜDA PAR’s staunch pro-Palestinian position and align with a growing grassroots boycott movement in Türkiye targeting multinational brands accused of complicity in Israel’s genocidal aggression in Gaza, which have killed tens of thousands of civilians.
Dinç’s statements underscore the party’s push to translate public solidarity with Palestine into concrete policy, urging institutional action to match Türkiye’s vocal opposition to Israel’s actions. (ILKHA)
