TurkStat: Construction sector leads with 3.6% confidence boost in September

Türkiye’s economic confidence index showed mixed results across key sectors in September, according to the Turkish Statistical Institute (TurkStat).
The seasonally adjusted confidence index for the services sector declined by 0.1%, reaching 111.0, signaling a slight dip in business sentiment. In contrast, the retail trade sector experienced a modest increase of 0.4%, bringing its confidence index to 109.2.
The most notable improvement came in the construction sector, where the confidence index rose by 3.6% to 88.3, reflecting growing optimism among construction businesses compared to the previous month.
