Yemeni missile strike shutters Ben Gurion Airport in bold response to Gaza genocide

Yemeni Armed Forces (YAF) on Sunday launched a hypersonic ballistic missile at Lod Airport, known to the occupying regime as Ben Gurion Airport, in the heart of Tel Aviv, delivering a powerful message of resistance and solidarity with the people of Gaza.
YAF military spokesperson Brigadier General Yahya Saree confirmed that the missile strike hit its target with precision, plunging the occupying entity into chaos. The operation forced the shutdown of the airport and sent thousands of Israeli settlers scrambling to bomb shelters in panic, exposing the fragility of the so-called "Israeli deterrence."
“The missile strike was a direct response to the ongoing genocide being carried out by the Zionist regime against the besieged people of Gaza,” Saree stated, adding, “This operation serves as a clear message: the blood of Palestinian martyrs will not be spilled in vain.”
The Yemeni Armed Forces emphasized that this action was part of the expanding aerial blockade against the Zionist regime, aiming to choke off the enemy’s air movement until the criminal siege on Gaza is fully lifted and the relentless bombardment of civilians ends.
Saree also revealed that increasing numbers of international airlines are now complying with the flight restrictions imposed by Yemen, further isolating the occupation regime and disrupting its logistical capabilities.
Reports from the occupied territories confirmed that air raid sirens echoed across al-Quds and surrounding illegal settlements. Despite Israeli claims of interception, aviation data showed several commercial flights were delayed or diverted due to the attack, showcasing the operational effectiveness of Yemen’s missile program.
Israeli media begrudgingly acknowledged the effectiveness of the strike, with Kan channel confirming the temporary suspension of all activity at Lod Airport. Meanwhile, Zionist military officials, visibly rattled, attempted damage control with vague claims of missile interception—claims flatly contradicted by the evident disruption and mass panic.
This latest operation reaffirms Yemen’s unwavering commitment to the Axis of Resistance and its principled support for the oppressed Palestinian nation. The Yemeni Armed Forces made it clear that as long as Gaza bleeds under siege and bombardment, the skies above the occupation will never be safe. (ILKHA)
