A major humanitarian shipment from Türkiye has reached Egypt’s Al Arish Port and is being readied for onward transfer to the Gaza Strip.

The vessel, which set sail from Mersin International Port in southern Türkiye on Tuesday, completed its Mediterranean voyage to deliver critical supplies to address the urgent needs of Gaza’s residents.

Coordinated by Türkiye’s Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD), the ship’s cargo includes essential items such as ready-to-eat meals, canned goods, and baby formula. These supplies aim to alleviate the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza, where ongoing conflict and blockades have severely restricted access to food and basic necessities.

The delivery marks Türkiye’s continued commitment to supporting Gaza, with this being the 17th aid ship dispatched as part of its humanitarian initiatives. According to recent updates from AFAD, the aid will be transferred from Al Arish Port to Gaza through coordination with Egyptian authorities and international relief organizations.
