Turkish FM Fidan meets UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed in Abu Dhabi

Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan met with United Arab Emirates President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan in Abu Dhabi to discuss bilateral relations and opportunities to further strengthen cooperation between Türkiye and the UAE.
During the meeting, Fidan and Sheikh Mohamed exchanged views on areas of cooperation between the two countries and discussed ways to deepen bilateral ties in line with their shared interests.
The talks formed part of Fidan’s official visit to the UAE, where Türkiye and the Gulf country have been working to expand cooperation across a range of political and economic fields.
Türkiye and the UAE have strengthened their relations in recent years, with trade, investment, energy, defense, tourism and other areas emerging as key components of bilateral cooperation.
The meeting also underscored the importance of continued high-level dialogue between Ankara and Abu Dhabi as the two countries seek to broaden their partnership and enhance coordination on regional issues.
Fidan’s meeting with Sheikh Mohamed comes as Türkiye continues its diplomatic engagement with Gulf countries and efforts to expand economic and strategic cooperation with regional partners. (ILKHA)
