Man dead, woman injured in Austria gun attack

A man has died and a woman is in serious condition following a shooting in the Austrian town of Traiskirchen, located approximately 32 kilometres south of Vienna, police have confirmed.
According to local authorities, the suspected gunman fled the scene in a vehicle after the attack on Sunday morning and later took his own life.
Austrian news agency APA quoted police spokesperson Johann Baumschlager as saying the woman was airlifted to a hospital in Vienna for emergency treatment. Her condition is reported to be serious but stable.
The Lower Austrian State Office of Criminal Investigation is leading the inquiry into the incident. Investigators have yet to release the identities of those involved or confirm the nature of their relationship.
Local media reports suggest the shooting followed a heated argument between the three individuals.
Authorities say the investigation is ongoing, and no further details have been made public at this time. (ILKHA)
