Israeli occupation forces terrorize West Bank in brutal overnight raids

The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) carried out a series of brutal raids late Monday night into the early hours of Tuesday, targeting several areas across the occupied West Bank.
The attacks involved violent arrests, physical assaults, and widespread vandalism, leaving Palestinian families terrorized in their homes.
According to local sources, Israeli forces stormed the al-Am’ari refugee camp in Ramallah, abducting two young men after breaking into their homes. Another Palestinian youth was also seized from nearby al-Bireh City amid scenes of panic and chaos.
In the northern city of Nablus, the occupation army continued its campaign of repression. Troops kidnapped a young man identified as Laith Khashaneh from the Old City after violently assaulting his mother. Witnesses reported that soldiers ransacked the family’s home, deliberately destroying property and confiscating two vehicles before withdrawing under heavy protection.
The Palestine Red Crescent Society said at least 11 Palestinians were injured during confrontations that erupted when large numbers of Israeli forces stormed eastern Nablus to secure access for extremist settlers visiting the so-called Joseph’s Tomb. Local residents described the invasion as a “provocation,” intended to inflame tensions and assert settler dominance over Palestinian areas.
In Jenin, Israeli soldiers disguised in civilian clothing infiltrated Anza village and kidnapped a young man from his home in a night raid marked by deception and intimidation. Additional forces later raided nearby Burqin town, where they assaulted another young Palestinian and fired tear gas at civilians, causing several cases of suffocation.
Meanwhile, in northern Jerusalem, occupation police opened fire on a young man near the separation wall in al-Ram town, injuring him in the leg. Palestinian ambulance teams rushed the wounded youth to hospital amid heavy Israeli gunfire, preventing medical crews from reaching the area safely.
The violence did not end with the army’s raids. In the al-Khalil (Hebron) district, a group of extremist Jewish settlers set fire to Palestinian agricultural tents in the Ikhllal al-Adra area, east of al-Karmil village, destroying the livelihoods of local farmers. In another attack, settlers from nearby illegal outposts assaulted Palestinian farmers in the Wadi Ammar area of Turmus Ayya, north of Ramallah, in yet another escalation of settler terrorism under the protection of Israeli forces.
Palestinian rights groups and residents have condemned the coordinated nature of the overnight assaults, describing them as part of Israel’s ongoing campaign to crush Palestinian resistance and uproot communities through fear, intimidation, and forced displacement.
These incidents come amid escalating Israeli military and settler violence across the occupied territories, as the occupation regime intensifies its collective punishment against the Palestinian people — even as the humanitarian crisis deepens in Gaza and throughout the West Bank. (ILKHA)
