Four Palestinians from the same family were martyred after an Israeli regime airstrike targeted a residential home in Beit Lahia, northern Gaza, as military operations continued despite the ceasefire agreement, Palestinian officials said.

According to the Palestinian News and Information Agency (WAFA), the attack destroyed the house, leaving several people trapped beneath the rubble. Rescue teams and local residents continued efforts to search for survivors as emergency crews worked to clear the debris.

More attacks reported across Gaza

Israeli forces also carried out artillery shelling east of Gaza City, while Israeli naval vessels targeted areas off the coast of Khan Younis as well as central and eastern parts of the Gaza Strip, according to Palestinian sources.

The latest attacks came amid continued military operations across the enclave despite the ceasefire that took effect on October 10, 2025.

Ceasefire violations continue

Palestinian health authorities said 1,358 Palestinians have been martyred and 4,541 others injured in attacks carried out since the ceasefire entered into force.

Officials accused the Israeli regime of continuing military operations despite international efforts aimed at preserving the truce and preventing further civilian casualties.

Humanitarian crisis deepens

Since the start of the Israeli military offensive in October 2023, more than 73,000 Palestinians have been martyred and over 174,000 injured, according to Palestinian health authorities.

The continued attacks have further worsened the humanitarian situation across Gaza, where repeated bombardments have displaced large numbers of civilians, damaged critical infrastructure and strained already overwhelmed medical facilities.

International humanitarian organizations have repeatedly called for the protection of civilians, unimpeded humanitarian access and the full implementation of the ceasefire to prevent further loss of life.(ILKHA)
