Deadly Israeli airstrikes kill dozens across Gaza as famine deepens

The Israeli occupation forces have intensified deadly assaults across multiple areas of the Gaza Strip over the past two days, resulting in the deaths and injuries of dozens of civilians, including women and children.
Local media and eyewitness reports confirm that Israeli military operations continued overnight and into Monday, with airstrikes and bombings targeting residential neighborhoods, causing widespread destruction and displacement amid an escalating humanitarian catastrophe.
According to a correspondent from the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) in Gaza, a recent airstrike hit the al-Tawam area in the northwest of Gaza, killing five people. In the eastern town of Abasan al-Kabira near Khan Yunis, a separate strike claimed the life of a woman and injured several others.
In Gaza City’s ash-Shuja’iya neighborhood, an attack near the Shuhada Mosque resulted in the deaths of four civilians. Meanwhile, at dawn, an Israeli strike in Deir al-Balah in central Gaza killed three individuals and caused multiple injuries.
The Gaza Health Ministry also reported that five people have died from starvation and malnutrition, highlighting the dire effects of ongoing blockades and limited access to essential supplies.
Furthermore, Israeli forces targeted civilians seeking humanitarian aid near distribution points supported by the United States in southern and central Gaza, leading to additional casualties.
The relentless bombardment has led to mounting numbers of casualties, with several Gazans succumbing to injuries sustained during recent attacks, further deepening the suffering of the besieged population amid famine and mass displacement.
The continuing violence underscores the urgent need for international intervention to halt hostilities and allow the flow of humanitarian assistance to alleviate the suffering of Gaza’s civilians. (ILKHA)
